Here they are, six Classic TOP DOWN! Pullovers for your growing children and teens. We started out to make the sizing to fit kids from 4 - 14 years old, but realistically they will fit up to a Small to Medium-sized adult (see Dad wearing a pullover on the back cover). There are six pullovers: a Crewneck, a V-neck and a Henley Neck with 3 buttons, two Hoodies (with or without pouches), and a Shawl Collared pullover.

We have introduced several different Short Row techniques. The necklines are shaped with Short Rows, to give you a nice curve for the crewneck or a shallow V-neck. A different type of Short Row is used in the Tuck Stitch Hoodie to make the hood. The Garter Stitch Hoodie also uses Short Rows and the Shawl Collar is also shaped with, you got it, more Short Rows. Quite ingenious.

Add a pouch to your hoodie for the styling your child or teen wants. It is easy to do and joined as you work, with no sewing!

Children and teens come in all sizes. We have given you specific lengths of sleeves and body for each size. We have also included suggested sleeve and body lengths according to the height of your child so that you can customize the pullovers. Make the body and sleeves shorter or longer as needed.

We’d love to see you step away from this pattern and add something special to the pullovers. Add stripes, texture and play with colour. Have some fun and make the sweaters yours.
