This is an easy garter stitch shawl, knit back and forth a circular needle. Knit it with an interesting yarn and the results will be fabulous.

The shawl starts at the right hand point, knitting back & forth to the centre back of neck, work around the mitred corner to make the bottom point and then work out to the left point. Some stitches at the center of the neck edge remain unworked and subsequently (magically!) turn into a fold-over collar.
